Bach Vespers
ECI-AGO is proud to join with First Presbyterian Church of Urbana to create the Urbana Bach Cantatas Project directed by Christopher Holman, which will present Central Illinois' first Bach vespers series this summer with professional choir, an orchestra of period players from all over the country, and university organ students performing Bach's keyboard works.

June 29, 5 p.m. Bach Vespers: Music for the Meeting of the Town Council
The Urbana Bach Cantatas Project will present cantata Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir (BWV 29), at First Presbyterian Church of Urbana with organist Christopher Holman, professional choir, and period instrument orchestra.


September 13 Pedals, Pipes, & Pizza
Pedals, Pipes, & Pizza is a free, afternoon-long program that introduces the pipe organ to young people, sponsored by the American Guild of Organists, East Central Illinois Chapter. More details available here.


October 26 Sycamore Brass Quartet

October 28 Jonathan Vaughn Concert
A concert by Organist Jonathan Vaughn, Assistant at Wells Cathedral, to be on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30 at the Chapel. Jonathan has recently released a CD of Wagner transcriptions performed on the Harrison Organ at St. Mary, Redcliffe, in addition to appearing as accompanist on several CDS from Wells and his Alma Mater, St. John's College, Cambridge.
